Business Intelligence Forum at GEW Syria 2025
Ten experts and 100+ founders, analysts and practitioners on how Syrian startups can adopt Business Intelligence.

When Syria joined Global Entrepreneurship Week for the first time, Syria Data Science took part as a contributor, not an observer. We led the Business Intelligence Forum: "From Gut to Data: BI Adoption for Syrian Startups."
We dropped the usual panel format. For 100 minutes, ten experts gave short interventions woven into an open discussion with more than one hundred participants from Syria's tech, startup and data communities.
The conversation stayed practical:
How can early-stage teams start using BI without heavy infrastructure?
Which tools and habits are the most accessible?
How do you build data literacy into everyday business decisions from day one?
The takeaway: data is not a reporting afterthought. It is a compass for testing assumptions and growing more resilient businesses, and it can start with a spreadsheet.
